Those sound really cool, but if I get one, it likely won't be anytime soon. I don't have the money, and I very much doubt my DBS counsilor will buy one. So for now, I have a used BrailleNote, wich is working out pretty fine for me.

I'm an mPower user and am very happy about this. I got my MPower in September and it is really cool.

What's a transplant? If it's something like that I can switch my BrailleNote for a PowerM, I'm not sure whether I can do that because I didn't buy my BrailleNote from an official venter; I bought it used from someone who didin't need their's anymore. If it's a software upgrade thing, I hadn't seen anything about that you could upgrade a regular BrailleNote to a PowerM version. Plus, if it's near a thousand dollars, I really don't have the money for that. *smiles*

I meant MPower. *smiles* I know I've been writing it as PowerM.

I have an MPower and can't tell you how neat it is. I had my braille display transplanted into from my old braille note classic into an MPower. I can do so much more with my MPower than I ever could with my classic. Part of that has to do with the fact that my classic wasn't working right by the time I sent it in for the transplant. The flash disk wasn't working so I had to save all my files to compact flash cards. I also didn't have access to some of the functions of the braille note. So once I received my mpower, I not only had a working flash disk, but I had all of the functions that go along with it plus all the new features of the mpower. One cool thing about the mpower is the web browser. It works really well here on the zone. The bluetooth capabilities are cool too. I hope to get a bluetooth gps receiver for it soon. For now, I'm using my earth mate gps receiver which connects to the braille note's serial port.

There is a demonstration of the M-Power on Main Menu. Right now, I have an old version of the Braille Note that my teacher lent me. I am planning to get the PK instead of the M-Power because it is a lot smaller and I heard that it has the exact same features as the M-Power.

I have a braillenote mpower and i love it. Some of the features I like best are the media player and the ability to record memos. I've used the recording feature in classes when the teacher talk to fast so that later I could isten to the lecture and take notes.
